Dwan, Ivey and Antonius Duke It Out on “GusHeaven”

There was a flurry of high-stakes action on Full Tilt Judi Online at the end of October / beginning of November, and since then, things have been pretty quiet.

One well-known player that has been largely absent from the high-stakes tables lately – Tom “durrrr” Dwan. Since November 3rd, “durrrr” has only played 2,531 tracked hands on Full Tilt. To compare – in October, “durrrr” played just over 22,000 hands on the site. In November, his volume has been way down.

“durrrr” put in a bunch of time today on Full Tilt Poker, getting involved in a number of high-stakes games against some of the best players in the world. As usual, “durrrr” was involved in most of the biggest pots and from what I saw, came out ahead on the day.

“durrrr”, Phil Ivey and Patrik Antonius were battling each other on “GusHeaven”, which is one of the $500/$1000 No Limit Hold’em tables on Full Tilt Poker. Ivey built up a stack of over $500k, but eventually “durrrr” stormed back and built his stack up to around $650k. Here are some of the bigger hands that were played:

1. “durrrr” vs Patrik Antonius. Phil Ivey had just left the table – Dwan and Antonius were now battling heads-up. Antonius had a stack of around $157k, and “durrrr” had $470k.

Antonius raised to $3,000 pre-flop, and “durrrr” called.

The flop came 5-T-9 rainbow. “durrrr” checked, Antonius bet $5,000, “durrrr” raised to $16,700, Antonius called.

The turn was the Queen of clubs. “durrrr” bet $31,400, Antonius pushed all-in and “durrrr” snap-called.

“durrrr” showed 9-9 for a set of nines, and Antonius was drawing dead with A-10 for a pair of tens. “durrrr” took down the $315k pot.

2. Ivey vs “durrrr”. This took place earlier in the session.

Antonius folded, “durrrr” raised from the SB to $3,000, Ivey re-raised from the BB to $9,000, “durrrr” called.

The flop came J-7-10 rainbow. “durrrr” checked, Ivey bet $13,000, “durrrr” raised to $39,700, Ivey pushed all-in and “durrrr” called.

“durrrr” showed A-J for top pair, Ivey showed pocket Kings for an overpair.

The turn was the King of diamonds, giving Ivey a set. “durrrr” would now need a Queen to win the hand.

The river was the three of spades, and Ivey was shipped the $248k pot.
